Client
engagement

For us, each project and client is unique and so are their technical needs and interests. We hold an in-person or virtual meeting to review the architectural plan and further discuss the process and execution of the project with the client. Education is a fundamental part of the design process, hence client receives a comprehensive and immersive overview of the options with a clear focus on the “7 Layers of Home Technology”.

Initial design & layouts

Next, a design study is conducted utilizing the client’s architectural plans and our proprietary software. The design team proceeds to incorporate lighting, shading, and technology systems that were specified for the preliminary technology design. The team generates schematic drawings to give the client a visual representation of the scope and budget. The process also includes reviews and adjustments according to the needs of the project.

Engineering & detailed design

After obtaining approval for the schematic drawings, we will proceed to engineer the design and create detailed construction drawings. These drawings will help with the placement of fixtures and the coordination of key technical components.

Project management

Once the construction process starts, our contract administration team closely monitors the project until completion. For projects located in New England, we handle the installation of motorized shading and technology systems. For projects outside of New England, we aid in creating a detailed bid package and manage the selection of technology subcontractors. Regardless of the location, we ensure coordination of the technical aspects with the project team, review submittals and change orders, and confirm that the systems are fully operational and commissioned at the end of the project.
